Do not Let Thieves Wreck Your Vacation and Bag Your Expensive SLR!!

I really love my camera, and photography in general. Definitely not a pro or anything, I'm simply an amateur who's taken a few classes in school.

However I was frightened when on our last trip my boyfriend and I went to Barcelona and my camera was stolen right out from under us while we were at La Sagrada Familia!

It was very hot, and we had just sat down for a brief rest on one of the concrete benches next to the church. My boyfriend went to search for a washroom and I was looking through the guide book to see exactly what we could do next. When he returned, he said where's the camera? I looked right beside me where I had just sat the camera down, and I could not believe it, but it was gone!

One of my pals had just gotten a new Nikon DSLR, she actually liked it, and I trusted her judgement. So my boyfriend and I decided to replace ours and get the exact same one my buddy had.

Not liking the original strap that came with the camera(I'm not a huge fan of being a strolling billboard for any corporation) we decided to buy a custom camera strap.

I've always been a huge fan of Amazon, they have excellent stuff and delivery is fast. It's a no brainer for me. So we went online and found a really adorable, classic looking colorful striped pattern, they call it the Rainbow of Colors design. We both love it, it's totally adjustable and fits both of us with simply a fast change to the length using the buckles, and it's very comfortable even when you're out for extended durations.

Although this wasn't a big purchase I'm pleased I did some research. Exactly what I learned was that all camera straps are not equal, and there are big differences in the quality. Overall, the quality is very good, the ends are made of leather, not some plastiky material, and we are very pleased with the purchase.

So take a look at the link, If you do decide to go with one of these, I would love to hear exactly what you think of it. I'm sure you will be pleased with your choice, like we are!
